పుస్తకపరిచయం ప్రసంగాల్లో భాగంగా కాళిదాసు మేఘసందేశం పైన చేస్తూ వస్తున్న ప్రసంగాల్లో ఇది పదహారవది. ఈ రోజు ఉత్తరమేఘంలో 45 వ శ్లోకం నుండి 57 వ శ్లోకం వరకు ముచ్చటించాను. దీనితో మేఘసందేశం పైన ప్రసంగ పరంపర పూర్తయింది. ఈ ప్రయాణంలో మేఘంతో పాటు కలిసినడిచిన వారందరికీ నా ధన్యవాదాలు. ఈ ప్రసంగాన్నిక్కడ వినవచ్చు.

Sir,
నాకై నేను ఎప్పటికీ చదువుకోలేని, అర్ధం చేసుకోలేని ఇలాంటి కావ్యాన్ని మీ ఈ ప్రసంగ పరంపర ద్వారా విని కావ్యానందాన్ని experience చేయడం గొప్ప అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నాను.
I spent at least 3+ hours each week listening to your talks (rewind and listen to some parts again and again), at times finding myself thinking about an expression or an insight that you shared, all day.
This journey with the megham has been very enriching, sir! Went through so many emotions along the way. కొన్ని చోట్ల మహాకవి ఊహించిన సన్నివేశాలు, వాడిన ఉపమానాలు, పదాలు construction of poems విని అబ్బురపడిపోయాను.
మీరు explain చేసిన perspectives, layers, and the philosophical and spiritual depth అర్థం అయినప్పుడు, felt a kind of emotional depth. It’s not sadness, but that quiet feeling that only comes when something profound touches you and in that there was an immense joy.
వాల్మీకి influence on Kalidasu గురించి మీరు చెప్పినపుడు అది ఎక్కడెక్కడ కనిపిస్తుందో ఆ expressions ఎత్తి చూపించినప్పుడు చాలా ఆశ్చర్యపోయాను.
But when he acknowledges that influence directly in his poem saying “హనుమంతుని చూసిన మైథిలి వలె” couldn’t help but admire his greatness.
ఈరోజు మీరు “కావ్య లక్షణాలు స్థిరీకరించని కాలం లో రాసిన కావ్యం అన్నారు “ అన్నారు కదా. అయినా ఈ modern day creative norms ప్రకారం చూసినా, ఒక కవి తనకు ప్రేరణ ఇచ్చిన మరొక కవిని ఇంత స్పష్టంగా acknowledge చేయడం చాలా గొప్ప విషయం అనిపించింది. 🙏🏽

టాగూరు నా మనసులోని మాటలనే చెప్తున్నట్లుగా అనిపించింది. ఆయనలాగే “తలుపులు మూసిన, దిగులు కమ్మిన గదిలో” నేనొక్కర్తినే మేఘసందేశ ప్రసంగాన్ని విని, ఆయన కవితను చదువుతూ అరె ఇవన్నీ నాకు తెలిసిన, నేనూ తిరిగి వచ్చిన తావులు అనుకుంటూ వున్నాను. 😃
