Book Brahma, an organization dedicated to literature, held a festival in Bengaluru that featured all four major south Indian languages. A three-day festival was held from 9th to 11th of August. I attended the inaugural session on the second day. I am sharing my paper here.
అందుకనే మంచికంటి, రవి కుమార్ అనే ఈ ఇద్దరు మిత్రులు గ్రంథాలయ ఉద్యమం పేరిట మొదలుపెట్టిన ఈ ప్రయత్నాలు కేవలం సాహిత్యానికో, రచయితలకో మాత్రమే సంబంధించినవి కావు. ఇవి సామాజిక ప్రక్షాళనా ప్రయత్నాలు అనిపిస్తుంది. మన చుట్టూ ఉన్న సమాజం ముఖం లేని మనుషుల్తో నిండిపోకుండా ప్రతి ఒక్కరినీ ఒక చైతన్యవంతుడైన మానవుడిగా, మానవిగా తీర్చిదిద్దే దిశగా ఎంతో ప్రేమతో వేస్తున్న అడుగులు అనిపిస్తుంది.
